In the second quarter of 2024, the US food delivery service apps continued to serve a vast number of users, despite reporting no revenue across the board. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into the downloads and weekly active users for these services, offering a glimpse into the app usage trends.

Wolt Delivery: Food and more saw downloads fluctuating, peaking at 26K in late April before tapering off to 17K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, with a high of 133K in mid-April, dipping to 109K at the end of April, and then steadying around 128K.

The Wolt Courier Partner app experienced modest download numbers, with the highest at 743 in mid-June. Active user counts remained relatively consistent, hovering around 15K throughout the quarter.

Just Eat - Food Delivery downloads were somewhat volatile, hitting a high of 772 in mid-April and then settling to around 600 by late June. Weekly active users remained stable, with a slight decrease from 7.3K at the start of April to just under 7K by the close of the quarter.

For Glovo: Food Delivery and more, download numbers saw a gradual decline from 467 at the quarter's start to 350 by the end. Active users showed minor fluctuations but ended the quarter with a slight dip to just over 5K.

Lastly, Uber Eats: Food Delivery began with 357 downloads in the first week of April and experienced a mid-quarter spike to 480 before settling back to 367 by the quarter's end. Active users for Uber Eats remained robust, with numbers oscillating around the 7.5K mark throughout Q2.
